Der Intentionalismus ist nach Tim Crane die These, dass alle mentalen ZustΓ€nde intentional sind.cite-ref-1[1] Dabei werden Handlungen nicht nach ihrer Wirkung, sondern entlang ihrer Absicht durchgefΓΌhrt. Als BegrΓΌnder wird der PΓ€dagoge Eric Donald Hirsch gesehen, ein Vertreter des Intentionalismus ist John Searle, geprΓ€gt wurde der Begriff auch durch Timothy Mason.
